You should begin your work by disconnecting the battery ground cable. Start by removing the left-hand instrument panel lower insulator through a process of pin-type retainer removal to disconnect the courtesy lamp. Before continuing remove the accelerator pedal and its shaft to freely set the LCM in place. First remove the locking tab by breaking the screw then disconnect the electrical connectors to completely take out the LCM. When accomplishing installation follow the reverse order of removal steps while implementing diagnostic tool-based download of saved configuration data to the new module after its installation.
