In order to service the brake light switch, unhook the battery ground cable then the connector of the BPP switch. Unscrew the locknut, take off the switch. To install, do everything in reverse. Once the battery is reconnected, the vehicle can display abnormal drive behavior before it re-learns its adaptive strategy and requires a 16 km (10 mi) drive.
