Set the vehicle on a hoist before you extend the parking brake adjuster clip downward to achieve a full brake condition. To lock the adjuster raise it by using force on the parking brake adjuster clip followed by unapplying the parking brake control. Unplug the front parking brake cable and conduit from the LH parking brake rear cable and conduit network at its cable connector while depressing the retaining tabs before taking out its frame-mounted retainer.
