How to service and repair the idler arm and bracket on 2002 Lincoln Town Car?

In order to fix the idler arm and bracket, lift the vehicle, and take off the idler arm castle nut and cotter pin. Disassembly: loosen the drag link, and the idler arm and bracket. Install the new components, making sure there is alignment and fix them with bolts. Reconnect the drag link, either castelle nut and a cotter pin and then trip the vehicle.
