How to Service the A/C Hose from Suction Accumulator to Evaporator on 2004 Lincoln Town Car?

Recovery of refrigerant must begin before servicing the suction accumulator to evaporator line. Remove the spring lock coupling and replace both O-ring seals with new ones that have received adequate PAG oil treatment. The same spring lock coupling service should be performed on the second lock coupling and both O-ring seals need to be discarded. Remove the suction accumulator-to-evaporator line. The installation process starts with reversing the removal sequence and using new O-ring seals that received PAG oil lubrication in clean liquid state. The correct amount of clean PAG oil should be used to lubricate the refrigerant system during its maintenance. Run the final steps by evacuating the system followed by leak tests and refrigerant system charging. Motorcraft YN-9-A (F73Z-19577-AA) must be used exclusively to lubricate R-134a O-ring seals but not as compressor lubricator for the air conditioning system. Implement F7AZ-19D589-DA PAG refrigerant compressor oil (Motorcraft YN-12-C) and its equivalent lubricants which fulfill Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B for A/C compressor lubrication. The replacement of a suction accumulator becomes necessary only when physical contamination appears due to broken A/C compressor failures or damaged suction accumulator components.
