How to service the Engine Control Module on 2005 Lincoln Town Car?

In order to service the Engine Control Module, the battery ground cable must be disconnected, clips removed and the three connectors at the PCM must be disconnected.1) Take out the PCM and remove the retaining bolt. During the installation of the new PCM, tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) and undo the steps in the same way.
