How to Service the Idle Control Valve on Ford Escort?

To service the Idle Control Valve (ICV) disconnect the battery ground and electrical connector to the ICV. Take out the ICV bolts and gasket. To install, put it back in reverse, but not to cause damage to the throttle body gasket or valve. Do not wash the ICV as this is sludge-resistant.
