How to service and repair the steering knuckle on Ford Escort?

To fix the steering knuckle, take out the front disc brake rotor, the axle hub retainer, cotter pin and tie rod end. Disconnect the anti-lock brake sensor (where fitted) then loosen the lower arm ball joint, and disassemble the strut and spring assembly. Install new fasteners and use Threadlock when replacing.
