The first step to service and repair a throttle body requires disconnecting the battery ground cable for safety reasons. Start the service by unfastening the accelerator cable shield using its screws and then detach the air cleaner outlet tube. Thoroughly disconnect the connector before unsticking the accelerator cable from the throttle lever together with the speed control actuator cable. The procedure continues with bolt removal before you can carefully disengage the throttle body from the upper intake manifold. In order to install the throttle body place new TB gaskets before reversing the ordered removal steps. It is crucial to maintain safety in areas where fuel-related components exist because highly flammable mixtures could ignite and result in personal injuries.
