Use approved brake fluid which meets manufacturer quality standards while abstaining from using reused fluid throughout the service or repair of the front brake flexible hose because this practice leads to system degradation that could induce serious bodily injuries. Professional advice can be obtained through reference to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) documents. Brake fluid should not touch painted surfaces or plastics or it can result in damage thus requiring immediate water washing. Commence the operation by taking out the flow bolt of the brake caliper and disposing of the two copper washers before tightening the new bolt to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft). The brake tube fitting connected to the flexible hose needs to be removed after ensuring that reinstallation torque reaches 17 Nm (13 lb-ft). Place the brake flexible hose and retaining clip aside before bleeding the brake system through the reverse process of removal.
