Individuals must position the wipers vertically to access the pollen filter which sits on the passenger side of the vehicle. You must exercise caution during air cowl grille removal since the gasket will become ruined. The air cowl grille's passenger side half requires unfastening two clips and cap removal before unscrewing and removing the bolt. You should open the service flap after removing the grille to extract the pollen filter. Note down the proper direction for pollen filter flow before installing it while using rubber edging to clean the grille between the wiper motor and filter housing because dust should be absent when replacing filters. Before reinstallation of the air cowl grille confirm proper seating of its windscreen gasket and then install a new air cowl gasket before securely placing the grille.

The pollen filter can be found under the cowl grille on the passenger side while wipers need to be placed in vertical position before filter servicing begins. Open the air cowl grille by pulling its passenger side segment out of its retaining point. Remove the pollen filter retaining flap then take the pollen filter out from its position while paying attention to the desired airflow direction for the new filter. The wiper motor and filter housing contain a grille with rubber edging that needs cleaning of dirt whenever a filter replacement occurs. The completion of the installation requires following the steps in reverse order of the removal process.
