A replacement cabin air filter should be placed underneath the right-hand cowl vent screen position. The installation process for new cabin air filters starts with removing wiper pivot arms followed by taking out the pin-type retainers at the cowl vent screen base. The right-hand cowl vent screen lies partially on top of the left-hand cowl vent screen thus right-hand screen removal takes priority before removing the left-hand screen. After following the removal steps you should implement the opposite procedure to finish the installation.

A driver can access the cabin air filter by reaching it under the right-hand cowl vent screen. The cowl vent screen removal process requires detachment of two wiper pivot arms followed by removal of four pin-type retainers on the screen. To access the cabin air filter properly the right-hand cowl vent screen needs to be taken off first since it covers part of the left-hand screen. The path to reach the cabin air filter becomes accessible once the right-hand and left-hand cowl vent screens are correctly removed and disposed of. The installation of the new cabin air filter requires following the opposite sequence of removal actions.
