Refer to service and repair procedures for the compressor clutch by beginning with accessory drive belt removal followed by Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor support to protect refrigerant lines. Unplug the electrical connector of your A/C compressor before taking out its drive plate and pulley carefully with the spacer shims. A suitable two-leg puller should be used to remove the clutch field coil while also recording the A/C compressor clutch electrical connector position against the compressor housing. When installing the clutch coil into the A/C compressor mounting position it must be set with no twisting or distortion. Reinstall the clutch field coil using it together with a washer and an M6 x 30 mm bolt. Let the A/C compressor drive plate to follow. Placing the new A/C compressor pulley requires a snap ring installation before securing the pulley with its ring. The A/C compressor drive plate must be installed before checking the A/C clutch air gap precision. After completing the task reconnect the electrical connector of the A/C compressor and reinstall the accessory drive belt.
