Start service and repair of the 40 percent Freestyle second-row seat cushion cover by placing the seat to the E-Z entry position. Users must first unclip the cushion trim cover J-clip that can be found beneath the seat. You should reach the back seat floor area and detach the J-clip that maintains the seat cushion frame connection with the foam pad. Cautiously draw the cushion trim cover retainers away from the area located between the riser/seat track and the cushion frame. You can unfasten the hog rings to free the cushion trim cover from its attachment to the foam pad of the cushion. The installation process requires following backward the steps executed during removal of components. The installation process for Freestyle rear seat backrest and cushion should be identical for 40 percent and 60 percent configurations according to their exploded view.

Next, separate the pivot release cable and casing, then remove the pivot release handle.

First, fold the seat up to the E-Z entry position.

Release three sets of cushion trim cover J-clips from under the seat.
