Inlet Tube

Start hose and fluid line servicing and repairing procedures for 2.3L and 3.0L engines by using a hoisted vehicle. First disconnect the fluid cooler inlet tube from the radiator followed by removal of both the fluid cooler inlet tube and fluid cooler tube from the transmission. Severe the components consisting of transmission fluid cooler line clip and the fluid cooler inlet tube and fluid cooler tube by removing them from the engine. Place the fluid cooler inlet tube and the fluid cooler tube in position after which you should install the transmission fluid cooler line clip onto the engine. To finish installation connect the fluid cooler inlet tube along with the fluid cooler tube first to the transmission and lastly to the radiator.

The first step for fluid line work on 2.5L engines requires vehicle suspension on a hoist. Detach the fluid cooler inlet tube and fluid cooler tube from both radiator components and transmission units. The service requires detachment of transmission fluid cooler line clip along with fluid cooler inlet tube and fluid cooler tube. First secure the fluid cooler inlet tube and the fluid cooler tube after their proper positioning then reattach the transmission fluid cooler line clip to the engine. The fluid cooler inlet tube or fluid cooler tube installation process starts by connecting them to the transmission and then proceeding with connecting them to the radiator.
