  • Q: Is Bleeding the Brake System Necessary for a Newly Installed ABS Control Module or Opened HCU Lines on 2001 Ford E-150 Econoline?
A: Bleed brakes, when 4WABS HCU is installed recently or the lines of the brakes were opened. Wipe the master cylinder cap, screw brake fluid in and connect a waste line to the RH rear bleeder screw. Unscrew, keep pressure on brake pedals and screw tightening. Do the same with all the bleeder screws and scan tool directions.
