Lift slowly on the stake of the front axle wheel hub retainer then remove the retainer from the axle. The tie rod end detaches from the front wheel knuckle when you remove the tie rod end nut and cotter pin along with a Tie Rod End Separator. Service the steering knuckle by removing first the anti-lock brake wire bracket bolt together with bracket before moving onto separate bolts secured to the front anti-lock brake sensor while it goes to the side.
