How to service the front Power Window Motor on 2000 Ford Excursion?

Begin servicing the front door window motor by first removing the window switch and then taking off both the front door trim panel together with the watershield. Secure the window by applying tape when positioned in the uppermost position. First disconnect the electrical connector from the window motor before taking off the screws that hold the motor in place with support for the motor underneath. The installation procedure requires reversing all steps which were performed during removal.
