The speed control cable slug requires insertion into the slot on the speed control servo pulley by carefully pushing the retaining spring before completely inserting the slug. The speed control actuator cable cap tabs must be aligned with the slots in the speed control servo housing before releasing the compressed spring to validate the rubber seal's position on the cap for high idle resistance.
