How to service and repair the idler arm on 2001 Ford Crown Victoria?

In order to service the idler arm, lift the vehicle, and loosen the nut, cotter pin and drag link. Disassemble the idler arm and bracket with the removal of bolts and nuts. Install the new idler arm at right angles to the centerline, re-attend the drag link, and fasten it with a washer, nut, and cotter pin and lower the vehicle.
