  A: Prior to servicing the idler arm and bracket you need to raise then support the vehicle. Start the procedure by removing both the pin and the nut after which you should detach the washer alongside the nut. After detaching the steering sector shaft arm drag link, proceed to remove the steering idler arm and bracket through their bolted connections with the washers and nuts. Install the steering idler arm and bracket with their bolts and washers and nuts when the idler arm faces forward with a direction that matches the centerline of the vehicle. Fasten the steering sector shaft arm drag link to the steering idler arm and bracket while applying the washer before installing the nut and new cotter pin. Finally, lower the vehicle.
