How to service the Light Control Module on 2001 Ford Crown Victoria?

To repair the Lighting Control Module (LCM), unconnect the battery ground cable and upload the module settings to a diagnostic tool. Unplug the LH instrument panel lower insulator, disconnect the courtesy lamp and, when possible, remove the accelerator pedals. Then take off LCM, and do the reverse procedure to install.
