Service of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor requires starting with the removal of the battery ground cable. The service of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor begins by removing the air cleaner outlet tube and the engine Air Cleaner (ACL). After disconnecting the electrical connector use a suitable tool to remove the MAF sensor cover before taking out the MAF sensor. Complete the removal of the MAF sensor cover using an appropriate tool before unthreading the two retaining nuts to remove the MAF sensor. Follow the opposite steps during the installation procedure.
