How to service and repair the radiator cooling fan motor and shroud on 2001 Ford Mustang?

The service repair of radiator cooling fan motor and shroud requires the removal of the degas bottle or coolant expansion tank. Disconnect the connector before splitting the fan harness away from the shroud. First remove the left-hand (LH) bolt but immediately after that remove the right-hand (RH) bolt in order to extract the fan and motor followed by the shroud. The installation process will be finished through the reverse completion of the removal method.
