How to service and repair the cruise control switch on 2001 Ford Ranger?

It is necessary to take out the steering wheel and rear cover, by unscrewing the screws, in order to service the cruise control switch. Unscrew the ribbon harness and unscrew the horn contact connectors. Eliminate the speed control switch assembly and the right side horn contact. To install, reverse the de-installation procedures.
