How to Service and Repair the Glove Box on 2001 Lincoln LS?

In order to service the glove box, disconnect the battery ground, remove retainers and the courtesy lamp and unscrew the floor heat duct. Pull the assist cable, open up the glove box, and take out the finish panel. Unscrew the glove box bin, disconnect the connector and take out the door bolts. Reverse for installation.
