How to replace the lower steering shaft on 2001 Mercury Villager?

To change the lower steering shaft, take the steering column and cover off and lift up the vehicle. Take out the tie strap and dust boot, the lower yoke bolt and slide out the shaft. Get down on the vehicle and take out the shaft. Removal is the opposite of installation.
