How to service and repair the power window switch on 2001 Mercury Villager?

In order to service the power window switch, the battery ground cable has to be disconnected. Take the screw cover out and remove the screw holding the window regulator control switch to the door trim panel. Unscrew and take away the switch assembly in the plate, then disconnect electrical connecters. To undo these steps, reinstall.
