How to service the wiper arm on 2002 Ford Crown Victoria?

In order to adjust the wiper arm, take the pivot arm off: raise it a little above the glass, unlock the locking tab, place the arm on the tab, and then remove it completely. To install, retrace the procedure, but make sure that the pivot arm key fits in the key of the pivot shaft when fitting.
