How to service the cooling fan shroud on 2002 Ford Explorer?

In order to maintain the cooling fan shroud, empty the cooling system and strip out the radiator cover. Take the assembly screws out of the shroud on the top and the bottom. Lift the vehicle, unscrew the right degas fill hose and do away with the bottom shroud. Installation is done in the opposite order; no shroud to shroud screws.
