How to service and repair the throttle cable and linkage on 2002 Ford F-150?

In order to service and repair the throttle cable and throttle linkage, it is necessary to disconnect the accelerator cable of the pedal and shaft. Depress lock tabs in cabin, thrust the cable in engine bay and remove it. Turn throttle lever forward, roll cable end out, press tabs back in to get out of bracket. Reverse for installation.
