Removal of the wet cowl is the first step in service and repair of the ignition coil. Taking a minor twisting action, disconnect the spark plug wires to the ignition coil. Then remove the electrical connector of ignition coil. Unscrew the ignition coil and the mounting screws. To install it, invert the uninstallation process.
