How to service and repair the oil pump on 2002 Ford Taurus?

In order to service the oil pump, disassemble the timing drive components, oil pump screen cover and tube. Unscrew the damper bolt and crankshaft sprocker and then unscrew oil pump bolts one at a time. To install, it is necessary to reverse the process and make sure that the sequence of the bolts is correct and all parts are put back in place.
