How to service and repair the Accelerator Cable and linkage on 2003 Ford Crown Victoria?

To service throttle cable, remove throttle return spring and throttle engine cover. Unclip the accelerator cable with throttle body and bracket, afterwards with accelerator pedal. Take off the cable retainer and draw the cable though the dash. To install, follow the reversal of the steps to be removed.
