How to Service the Air Filter Box on 2003 Ford Focus?

In order to service the air filter box, place the vehicle in neutral using a hoist. Eliminate intake air resonator, MAF sensor pipe clamp bolt, and electrical connector. Unscrew the air filter box cover and the bolts and the air filter box and MAF sensor pipe. Check the lower MAF display and reconnect, when necessary. Installation is reversed in the same way.
