How to service the knock sensor (KS) on 2003 Lincoln LS?

In order to service the knock sensor (KS) disconnect the battery ground cable first. Next, take off the intake manifold and then proceed in the listed sequence of components removal as indicated in the illustration and table. In order to install them, just do the reverse.
