In order to remove the windshield washer pump and reservoir, unplug the battery ground cable. Take elements out one by one, getting the fluid out to avoid spills. To install, counterclockwisely undo the process of removal, and make no electrical connections at any point until the reservoir is full. Operation of the pump should not begin before filling the reservoir.
