How to service and repair a door lock cylinder on 2003 Lincoln Navigator?

In order to fix the door lock cylinder, take the front door handle and lock cylinder out and dis-connect the rod, and then take the retainer out. Install a replacement cylinder in a repair package, according to the directions. Lastly, undo the un-removal process in order to install it.
