There is no need to install a new suction accumulator when both system contamination evidence and damage to the suction accumulator remain absent. You must conduct a leak test for the A/C evaporator core before its removal when there is suspicion of leakage. The components need to be transferred from the previous housing to the new housing after the old unit has been removed. Installation requires performing the reverse steps from removal and proper application of PAG Compressor Oil YN-12-C or an equivalent product that fulfills Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B to the new A/C evaporator core. Installation of the evaporator core unit requires a complete installation of its components with the housing.
