The first step to service the accelerator cable requires disconnection from the pedal then removal of the outlet pipe behind the air cleaner. Proceed to disconnect the cable by both moving the throttle body cam forward while sliding the accelerator cable end off the cam. The cable removal from the accelerator cable bracket becomes possible through depressing the locking tabs. Reposition the components following the steps used during uninstallation.
