How to service and repair the brake light switch on 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty?

In order to service the brake light switch, remove the battery ground cable and electrical connector to the BPP switch. Take out the BPP switch with the self-locking pin, disconnect it to the push rod and take out the spacer and the bushing. To install, undo the steps of removal.
