How to service the power mirror switch for the exterior rear view mirror control on 2004 Ford Mustang?

A shop towel along with another material must be used to protect the front door trim panel while servicing the power mirror switch for exterior rear view mirror control. First pull at the service notch while positioning away the window regulator switch plate before lifting the rear edge clip release. Disconnection of the electrical connector enables the removal of the power exterior rear view mirror control switch. The installer should complete the process in the reverse order of how they removed it.
