How to service the power mirror switch for the exterior rear view mirror control on 2004 Ford Mustang?

To remove the power mirror switch of the exterior rear view mirror, cover the front door trim panel with a shop towel. Take out the switch plate window regulator, pull at the notch of the service and then lift to release the clip. To install, disconnect the electrical connector so that the switch may be removed and vice versa.
