How to service the rear bumper cover on 2005 Ford Expedition?

The service process for the rear bumper cover begins with bolt removal of rear fender splash shield and continues with rear bumper cover securing nuts and bolts. The installation process starts with removing the lower pin-type retainers from the rear bumper cover and liftgate trim by pulling out corresponding pin-type retainers.
