How to service the coolant reservoir on 2005 Ford F-150?

Running the engine cooling system through drainage is the first step to perform reservoir service. The first step requires you to remove the clamp then disconnect the upper hose from the degas bottle while you proceed to release the clamp and disconnect the lower hose. Take out the degas bottle by removing its securing bolts. Begin the new degas bottle installation by running the bolts to the proper torque setting of 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.) before following the reverse steps of bottle removal to install.
