How to service the Headlight Switch on 2005 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

The service of the headlamp switch begins with disconnecting the battery ground cable. First lower the steering wheel into its lowest position after which you should carefully remove the instrument cluster finish panel to reach the headlamp switch from behind. The headlamp switch can be released by pushing flat surfaces on the switch after feeling them while the panel is positioned behind it. Electric connectors must be removed before extracting the headlamp switch. The new switch installation follows the opposite steps of removal.
