How to service the Engine Control Module on 2005 Ford Freestar?

To change the Engine Control Module, disconnect the battery ground cable, loosen the bolt and unscrew the PCM electrical connector and tighten it to 7 Nm in the reinstallation. Unscrew the two PCM-to-dash nuts, and tighten them to 5 Nm when installing. Install the PCM again in the same fashion.
