The service and repair of front door latches requires removal of all three screws from the front door latch site with an installation torque of 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) until secure. The technician needs to position the front door latch aside before disconnecting the front door ajar switch along with the front door lock actuator electrical connectors to remove the front door latch.
