How to Service and Repair the Motor and Transmission Mount on 2005 Lincoln Navigator?

Begin service and repair work on the transmission mount when the vehicle is in neutral gear position with a hoist. Aerial vehicles must sit in neutral position on a hoist before beginning the repair process. First remove the rear transmission support nuts while positioning a suitable transmission jack. Before removing the bolts users must slightly elevate the transmission rear to detach the rear transmission mount. Position the rear transmission mount as it should be and bolt it back into place. Lower the transmission to the crossmember area before securing its nuts.
