2006 Ford E-150 Coolant Reservoir Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service the coolant reservoir on 2006 Ford E-150?
A: The first step to serve the coolant reservoir includes draining the cooling system. Gas engines require service of the coolant reservoir through disconnecting one hose at the degas bottle. Then detach the bolts securing the degas bottle while relocating it to another position. Reinstall any components by tightening the bolts to 6 Nm which equals 53 inch lbs. Take out the degas bottle after cutting the engine fill tube connection. Once the installation process is finished users must undo all the actions that were required during removal.
