How to remove and install the front floor Center Console Base on 2006 Ford Explorer?

Start by pulling the pin-type retainer from its place and separate the two clips which fasten the console. Start disconnecting the console componentry by unplugging the power point electrical connector after unscrewing both floor trim ring and front console finish panel fixtures. Start by extracting the two forward bolts which exist at the front region of the console. The two middle floor console bolts need removal after front seat movement to the maximum rear position. The front floor console can be taken out following the bolt removal. Installation of the console should be performed in the opposite sequence to the steps used for removal.
